It's important to understand that both the Facebook page and the professional Instagram account are linked to the same personal Facebook account. That's why when you first log in to Instagram or Facebook, it asks you to connect your personal Facebook account.



Facebook Issues

If you are not the owner of the Facebook page, make sure to have the correct level of permission to manage the Facebook page:

If you have the correct level of permission, then I would recommend you delete the Followr integration from Facebook and start the process again. Sometimes the integration may fail and needs to be restarted.

Instagram Issues

First, make sure you don't have any issues with your Facebook page access level. If you can connect your Facebook page to Followr that means that you have the correct level of permission.

Meta requires all Instagram accounts for the following two things:

  • It should be a Business/professional account

  • The business account must be connected to a Facebook page.
