Community Feed - Beta

The new Community Feed is designed to create an ecosystem of engagement for all Followr users, helping you boost your social media presence. By interacting with posts from others in the Followr community, you can earn credits that will increase the visibility of your own posts.

The community feed is a Beta feature that depends entirely on the proper functionality of Facebook and Instagram. As a result, credits may not always be tracked accurately in every case. We appreciate your patience, as this is beyond our control.

Despite these limitations, I hope you can genuinely enjoy growing organically within the Followr community

Key Points

  • It doesn't matter which account you're logged into in your browser to generate the interaction. You can use a different Facebook or Instagram account than the one linked to your company.

  • The credits are per user, not per company

  • You can perform multiple interactions on the same post. For example, you can share and like at the same time.

  • The posts that will appear as available to publish in the community feed are the most recent ones you've uploaded to Instagram and Facebook. It's likely that posts you uploaded a long time ago won't show up in the list of available posts to publish in the community feed. Due to Facebook API limitations, you can't post Facebook Reels in the Community Credits.

Points are assigned to the owner's account, not to the companies

Credits operate under the same principle as words and images. All of these point systems are managed by a single account (the owner's account)

This means that when interactions are generated and credits are earned, they will be added to the owner's account associated with the company. If an account has multiple companies created, all of those companies will contribute points to the owner's account.

Similarly, when a company consumes credits, they will be deducted from the owner's account. All companies can generate and utilize credits from the owner's account.

We will be working to implement personalized credit consumption limits for each company.

Credits Values

Engaging with other users' posts will earn you community credits, which you can then use to promote your own posts. Here's how to earn credits:

  • Like a post: +1 credit

  • Comment on a post: +2 credits

  • Follow a page: +3 credits

  • Share a post: +4 credits

Use the credits you’ve earned to boost your own posts in the Community Feed for more visibility. Here’s how you can spend your credits:

  • 1 hour on the community Feed: 10 credits

  • 1 day on the community Feed: 30 credits

  • 1 week on the community Feed: 100 credits

  • 1 month on the Community Feed: 300 credits

Maximize Your Credits

We recommend engaging with as many posts and accounts as possible. You can also delegate users or different accounts within your team to interact with the community, which will help you earn even more credits. The more engagement you create, the more credits you'll earn, and the more visibility you'll get for your own posts.

As more users contribute, you'll start to see how both Facebook and Instagram algorithms will reward this activity, resulting in increased views and growth for your accounts.

Important Note: While the Share feature for Instagram is not fully validated yet, we recommend using the Share function only on Facebook for now. All other engagement actions are fully validated.

How to Validate Engagement

Engaging with posts on Instagram or Facebook through Followr is simple and rewarding. Just follow these 3 easy steps to validate your engagement and earn credits:

  1. Engage with a Post
Select a post you want to engage with and click Engage. This will open the post directly on Facebook or Instagram.

  2. Take Action
On the social media platform, you can:

    • Like the post

    • Comment on the post

    • Share the post

    • Follow the account
Complete any of these actions to engage with the post.

You have 60 seconds to perform the interaction. The faster you interact within those 60 seconds the more likely for FB/IG to tell Followr that you have interacted and avoid losing the credits.

  3. Validate Your Engagement
After interacting with the post, just wait for those 60 seconds to finish and your credits will be automatically added!

  4. You are all done

Use those credits to boost your engagement

By participating and supporting each other, we can grow as a community. Take advantage of this new feature and see how it positively impacts your social media reach!
