Getting started
Open Creative Studio from the left sidebar under AI Images → Creative Studio.
Step 1 — Describe your creative
In the text area at the top, write a detailed description of what you want to generate. Be specific about the style, mood, and content you’re looking for.
Tips for better results:
Mention the topic, audience, and platform (e.g. “A bold carousel about productivity tips for entrepreneurs”).
Include visual preferences like “vibrant gradients”, “clean typography”, or “minimalist layout”.
The more detail you provide, the closer the result will match your vision.
Step 2 — Upload a reference image (optional)
If you have a product photo or visual asset you want included, drag it into the upload area or click click to browse. Accepted formats: PNG, JPG, WEBP.
This is entirely optional. If you skip it, Creative Studio will generate the visual from scratch based on your description.
Step 3 — Choose a content type
Select one of three options:
AI Decides — lets the AI determine the best format.
Single Creative — generates one standalone image.
Carousel — generates a multi-slide set. Use the –/+ control to choose between 3 and 10 slides.
Step 4 — Select an aspect ratio
Pick the ratio that matches your target platform:
1:1 — Instagram feed, Facebook, LinkedIn.
4:5 — Instagram portrait posts.
9:16 — Stories, Reels, TikTok.
16:9 — YouTube thumbnails, landscape posts.
2:3 — Pinterest pins.
Step 5 — Pick a visual style (optional)
Choose from a library of agency-grade styles. Click the style selector to browse options. Available styles include:
Minimalist Clean — white space with thin typography.
Bold Typography — oversized, attention-grabbing text.
Gradient / Vibrant — vivid gradient backgrounds.
Bold Hook 3D — punchy 3D elements on pastel covers.
Bold Statement — solid-color backgrounds with mixed fonts.
Glassmorphism — frosted glass panels with translucent blur.
Neo-Brutalism — raw geometric shapes with thick outlines.
AI Decides — lets the AI choose the most fitting style for your prompt.
You can also use the search bar at the top of the style selector to find a specific style quickly.
Step 6 — Add brand context (optional)
Toggle any combination of these options to keep your creatives on brand:
Include brand context — applies your brand’s identity and messaging.
Include brand logo — places your logo on every generated image.
Use brand colors — applies your brand’s color palette to the design.
Brand settings are pulled from your Company Settings in Followr. Make sure your brand identity is configured there before using this feature.
Generating your creative
Once you’ve completed the steps above, click the Generate button at the bottom. The credit cost is displayed next to the button (e.g. “25 credits” for a single creative or “175 credits” for a 7-slide carousel).
Your results will appear on the Canvas — the preview area on the right side of the screen. Generation usually takes a few seconds.
Working with the Canvas
The Canvas is your design workspace where all generated creatives appear. You can zoom in and out using the controls at the bottom (or scroll), and navigate between slides in a carousel by scrolling horizontally.
From the Canvas toolbar you can:
Save to Media — sends all images to your Media Library for future use.
Download All — downloads every image in the set to your device.
Use in Post — opens the Post Composer with your creatives attached, ready to publish to any social network connected to your Followr account.
Create New — starts a fresh generation from scratch.
Editing individual images with AI
Click on any generated image to select it. An Edit Instructions panel will appear where you can type a natural-language instruction — for example:
“Change color to violet”
“Make the text larger”
“Replace the background with a sunset”
“Remove the logo”
Click Edit Image to apply the change. The AI will regenerate that specific image while preserving the rest of your set.
You can also delete any image you don’t want and keep the rest.
Credit usage
Creative Studio uses Media Credits from your Followr plan. The exact cost depends on the content type and number of images:
A single creative costs approximately 25 credits.
A 7-slide carousel costs approximately 175 credits.
Editing an existing image also consumes credits.
You can check your remaining credits in the Media Credits section in the left sidebar.
Frequently asked questions
Can I edit a creative after generating it?
Yes. Click on any image and use the Edit Instructions panel to modify it with a text prompt. The AI will regenerate that specific image.
Which social networks can I publish to?
All networks connected to your Followr account via API. This includes Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), TikTok, YouTube, and more.
Do I need to set up my brand before using Creative Studio?
No, brand context is optional. However, for consistent branding across all creatives, we recommend configuring your brand identity, logo and colors in Company Settings first.
What’s the maximum number of slides in a carousel?
You can generate between 3 and 10 slides per carousel.
Can I choose an AI model?
Yes. You can switch the AI model from the top navigation bar. Creative Studio works with the model selected in your workspace settings.
